We kindly invite you to the SEASON ENDING TOURNAMENT at The V Golf Club, OCTOBER 22nd 2011!
Format: 2 PERSON IRISH SCRAMBLE, TRIPLE ‘N’ TOUCH (Each player can only use 3 golf clubs + putter).
TWO PLAYERS ARE PLAYING IN EACH TEAM. EACH PLAYER WILL HIT THEIR TEE SHOTS AND THEN THE MOST DESIRED TEE SHOT IS CHOOSEN AND THEN BOTH PLAYERS WILL HIT FROM THAT LOCATION AND THEN REPEAT THE SAME PROCESS UNTIL THE BALL IS HOLED

Dear Golfers,
Please be aware that from September 6-13th there will be very strict security measures at Le Meridien Vilnius due to the European Basketball Championship.
If you are planning to visit The V Golf Club you will need to do the following:
1. Please inform Golf Reception at least 1-2 hours in advance of your visit
2. Provide the licence plate and description of your car
3. Carry necessary identification documents
No one will be able to access ANY other areas of the resort apart from the golf course and Golf Reception.

Golf Operations Manager of "The V Golf Club"
Le Meridien Vilnius and The V Golf Club, announces the appointment of Mr. Yiannis Tsioukanis as Golf Operations Manager. He began playing golf at 15/16 and after 18 months Yiannis managed to drop his handicap from 20 to 3. For the next 10 years he played 30 or more amateur events per year from local events to the Australian Amateur. Mr. Tsioukanis has rich experience in managing daily golf operations.
"Now I am here and very excited to try and make not only "The V Golf Club" a success but to assist in making the great game of golf more popular for the people of Lithuania", says Yiannis.

"The V Golf Club" and hotel "Le Meridien Vilnius" Appoints Director of Golf
"Le Meridien Vilnius" and "The V Golf Club", announces the appointment of Mr. Folke S. Nyberg as Director of Golf.
Mr. Nyberg will be responsible for sales and marketing of the club’s golf programs, including golf related MICE groups from Scandinavia & Finland, along with golf club management.
Folke has extensive experience in managing and directing golf facilities in Scandinavia. He is founder of the PGA European Tour Course Golf Club – Kungsangen Golf Club, venue of 4 consecutive Scandinavian Masters tournaments on the European Tour circuit.
Mr. Nyberg most recently served as Director of Golf with the Santiburi Group in Thailand.
